About

The world Our Lady foresaw — and the answer she gave

In 1917, the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared to three shepherd children at Fatima and spoke with clarity about the age to come. She described a world oppressed by violence, moral disorder, the loss of faith, and the shadow of war. She warned of persecution against Christians and of a crisis reaching into every corner of human life.

Look around, and you will see that her words have been fulfilled.

The number of non-religious people in Australia has grown from 0.3% at the time of Fatima to 38.9% today. Christianity has declined from 99% to 43.9% during the same period. This collapse in faith has not happened quietly. It has brought with it a worsening of public life, rising violence, family breakdown, addiction, the normalisation of abortion, and a culture increasingly hostile to the Faith our grandparents took for granted.

But Our Lady did not come to Fatima merely to warn us. She came as a mother, and she brought with her a message of hope and a way forward. If the world heeds her requests, she promised, souls will be saved, peace will be restored, and her Immaculate Heart will triumph.

Australia Needs Fatima exists to bring that message to every corner of this country.

What we do

Since our founding, we have worked to spread traditional Catholic devotions, uphold the sanctity of the family, and defend the moral foundations of society. We distribute books, rosaries, and devotional materials. We form new disciples of Our Lady. We carry the Fatima message into homes, parishes, and communities across Australia, often reaching people who have never encountered it before.

None of this work happens without the generosity of faithful Catholics who believe, as we do, that Our Lady's requests are the remedy for our times.

Why your monthly gift matters

Consider what is at stake, not in the abstract, but in your own street, your own family, your own parish.

The Faith that shaped Australia is being lost, one generation at a time. Children are growing up without the sacraments. Young people are leaving the Church in numbers that would have been unthinkable a generation ago. If the present trajectory continues, the Australia your grandchildren inherit may be one in which the rosary, the Mass, and devotion to Our Lady are things of the distant past, curiosities, not living realities.

This is not inevitable. Our Lady herself told us so. But the answer she gave requires people willing to act on it.

A one-time donation is a great blessing. But a recurring monthly gift does something more: it becomes a permanent part of the apostolate itself. It is what allows this work to continue without interruption, to plan ahead, to reach further, and to say yes when opportunities arise to put the Fatima message in front of someone who may never have encountered it otherwise.

Every month, your gift helps place a rosary in the hands of those who have never held one. It funds materials that reach lapsed Catholics and draw them back. It carries Our Lady's message into homes, hospitals, and communities where the Faith is fading, and where it is needed most.

As Pope St John Paul II said, the Message of Fatima is "the greatest message of modern times." We believe it. We are staking this work on it.

The question is not whether this work is worth doing. The question is whether it will be funded well enough to do it. That depends on faithful Catholics, people like you, choosing to stand with us not once, but month after month.

If you believe Our Lady's message can still turn the tide for Australia, we invite you to become a monthly donor today. Your gift, faithfully given, unites you to every rosary distributed, every soul reached, and every prayer offered through this apostolate.

Our Lady is asking. Will you answer?
