Why Australia Needs Fatima

Australia Needs Fatima is an ongoing project to bring the Message of Fatima to Australia.

We promote traditional Catholic devotions, uphold family values, and defend good traditions, customs and morals in society.

Our Lady’s diagnoses of the moral and religious situation of the world in 1917 is even more true today.

We find our society oppressed by the sins of violence, envy, drunkenness, drugs, sexual perversions, abortion, hatred, corruption. There is great loss of religious faith, declining love of neighbour, unhappiness and even despair. War and rumours of war destabilise and devastate many parts of the world. Christians are persecuted and martyred.

All this was predicted by Our Lady when she spoke to the three children at Fatima. But our good Mother, despite being so offended by human sins, didn’t forget us. She brought a message of hope to Fatima, a message that can save many sinners and save the world from catastrophe – provided we heed her requests!

Our vision

We desire a world where all nations live in peace, harmony and prosperity. This will happen if we respect God’s laws. In 1917, the Blessed Virgin Mary came to Fatima with a prophetic message from God to mankind. This is the Message of Fatima – a message of hope for our time!

She showed us a way out of the present-day world crisis, a crisis caused by the sins of the world. She foretold the triumph of her Immaculate Heart the coming of peace when mankind converts. We ardently desire the triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary and her reign over all mankind.

Our Mission Statement

We are dedicated to spreading the Message of Fatima throughout Australia.

Underpinning all our outreach is a desire to help as many people as possible to know and live the Message of Fatima. As Pope St. John Paul II said, it is “the greatest message of modern times.” Why does Australia need Fatima? Our Lady’s diagnosis of the moral and religious situation of the world in 1917 is even more true today.
