Our Lady came to Fatima asking that the world be devoted to her Immaculate Heart. That request was not made once. It was made again and again — to Sister Lucia, to popes, to the Church, and through them, to every Catholic in every generation. Including you.

A personal consecration is how you answer it: an act by which you give yourself, your life, your family, and your future into her hands, so that she might bring you closer to her Son.

To make this act of consecration, all you have to do is say the prayer below with the intention of consecrating yourself.

O Mary, Queen of Heaven and Earth, my Queen, my Mother, I consecrate myself this day to your Immaculate Heart. I entrust to you all that I am, and all that I have. I ask you to reign over my life, dearest Mother, that I may be yours in prosperity, in adversity, in joy and in sorrow, in health or in sickness, in life and in death.

I ask you to obtain God's blessings for me, my family and friends, my community, and the whole world. Furthermore, I beseech you to hasten the coming triumph of your Immaculate Heart. Amen.
